I'm stuck in a certain valley that shall remain nameless, but is there any noted harvest in the silicon valley area? There are a lot of foothills around, and i haven't investigated for a while

Give me struggle, iron, volcanoes...

You won't find anything in the silicon valley area. Your best bet is to look around Golden Gate Park and Near Mt. Tamalpais, which is just north of SF. There's nothing poppin yet in our area, so don't waste your time. I'd say if it stays this cold and doesn't freeze and rains some more, we'll have cyans poppin within a few weeks.

Your best bet is to make your own beds. Of the few locations here in the Bay Area, they're pretty much all known and taxed heavily, thus limiting your probability of sucess. Psilocybes around here are VERY rare relatively speaking. You still have a chance, but an outdoor bed in the privacy of your backyard is far superior.
Up in humboldt county, Ps. cyanescens are everywhere, and I mean everywhere! Look around the woodchips near the coast and at humboldt state. However, be VERY careful because police regulate very hard up there.

The Psylicone Valley is not a place to find mushrooms, but, the Santa Cruz Mountains are a for sure. Stay out of Redwood Soil...too acidic. San(belch, excuse me)born Park? Hmm...maybe worth a check...

Ah, my old seasonal message buddies. Now, you say the SC Mountains are dicey? Well I guess I moved to the right location! Could you specify what kind of microhabitat they would hide out in up here, because all I see is redwood trees. Well, enough talking, let's get hunting!

Anyone here live in Arcata? I found a nice little patch of cyanescens last year over by Healthsport. Hoping the patch coes back this year. Also aminitas around this area too.
