I bought a kit and the grow chamber has a filter on the side of it and the tek says to put the cake in and wait four days then fan for 2 sec then 12 hrs later fan again then it says to leave the lid closed till they start pinning? I no you should follow the tek provided 100% for optimal results but i've been reading that people seem to say that fanning is needed, the thing that is making me question this is because theres a filter on the side of the chamber. Should i fan or do what the tek says? Does anyone else have this filter set-up?

You can never have too much FAE. I did this on my first chamber, to maintain constant FAE.

That setup looks cool fungusman, is it just tubing stuffed with cotton wool? I read out your setup on an earlier post but I didn't properly understand it.

Anyway back to the subject would 4 times a day be sufficient? I still need to know just what fanning enatils. 30 secs, 5 mins, leave the lid off for a while...?
