I donate in other ways to charities all year. For example every time I go to a friends a house, when they are not looking I take some of their nicest clothes. I later give them to charity :smile:

Seriously though, this is the only spore related "public" charity event I do. I attend some other charity events throughout the year.
Spore sales are always way down this time of year because ppl need the money for gifts and travel etc... I certainly need the money with sales being so low this time of year. But knowing I'm going to make some kids much happier this Christmas is a GREAT feeling. I always get a real warm inside after buying all those toys and donating them.
Give it a try its a great feeling.

If I was just after a bunch of attention I could post contests here and advertise spore syringe sales all the time like other vendors do, like you just did MicronMagik.

If you really do donate 10% of your earnings to charity that is GREAT. If I was rich I certainly would do that but that is just not practical, I have bills to pay.
Are you sure your not a mormon? Its my understanding mormons are required to give 10% of their earning to "the church".

The Toys for Tots spore drive was once again a success.
This year $672 worth of quality toys were donated to the Marines Toys for Tots drive. I chose mostly toys in the $5 to $20 range that did not need batteries. They literaly filled 2 shopping carts top and bottom full of toys.

A local radio station was working with the Marines to help this drive along and they all about shit when we brought all these toys down at once. They tried to get me on the radio to encourage more ppl to bring down toys but I declined since I might be tempted to throw in a plug for mushroom growers around the u.s. :smile:

It feels amazing to give to people in need, I hate to think there are actually children out there who are starving at xmas let alone have presents in North America... This is the land of oppertunity, but we let some suffer like 3rd world people...

Truly awesome Ryche, this kind of generosity is what life should be about...

Great stuff Ryche and just another example of how reputable dealers promote their business by doing good things that make themselves look good as opposed to those who only go out of their way to try to make others look bad so they look better in comparison.
