terrarium seal

i have a rather large aquarium i am going to use as my terrarium (30 gal?). anyways i was checking out the dual chamber idea on pf tek. could i take a piece of card board wrapped completely with siran wrap and use that as the spray guard for the humidity spraying. do i even need a spray gaurd if i use a substancial amount of perlite and wet a little betteR? also about sealing the top of the aquarium. if i take siran wrap and put a few layers and seal with tape will that be a good enough air tight seal? Thanks

Laying a piece of plexiglass over the top would be easier and work just fine.

plexiglass is a little expensive compared to siran wrap. not saying i wouldnt spend the money but if i can aquire the same objective with siran wrap, mine as well save the money for other things i need. Also puscle, what do you think about what i said about the sprayshield and perlite. Let me know what you think. Thanks
