What are some programs that will basically go through my computer and deleting all those obsolete files that just take up precious room.

Nothing is going to do that for you. go remove what you don't use in add/remove programs, and dig through the rest and delete it.

if you really want to clean everything up and re-install an os then i would go into dos and use the fdisk command.....offhand i forget the other command that will also clear the registry....its fdisk *something*

but just fdisk will format the drive....so save anything important
