New Species
    #469092 - 11/25/01 11:39 AM (15 years, 13 days ago)

This species has the color of a P. stuntzii cap (light coffee-brown) fading to straw yellow, with a white stem which blues intensely.

I found one clump, made three prints and now I await their taxonomical points.

Mj,

Hope to find one more collection. Found this one with a friend from Kent out near Kent.

Yup -- interesting discovery!!

...another banner mushroom hunting season for mjshroomer.
Its too bad that not every place can consistantly maintain such a high-concentration of mycelial fruits Year-'Round, like here in florida let me tell you about it.
:)

Have a nice winter in the north,
gg
