quick drying question

im not sure if this is right form but i collected some formosa and wonder if it is safe to dry them by leaving them in a bottom drawer and just letting em dry out i had left 2 in there and one is dried like if you bought it online and the other was infested was was a bad and had white maggot thing but the other one had none is t safe to eat and second can i dry more that way

leaving them in the sun is the best way to dry them i find, but that might work just as good...dry them into a poweder and throw them in a pot with a bit of water than use a strainer or coffee filter to harvest the golden yellow(sorta looks like piss)liquid after it has cooked for awhile than take a couple shots.Make sure you don't the the water boil, for it will kill the active ingredient.

Yeah, I was gonna say that most of the time there are atleast eggs if not larva, and other damging pests. Putting them in a drawer allows no air flow. You want to dry them as fast as possible, like a food dehydrator or a screen with a fan blowing on them. Something like that.

i would recommend not drying them in the sun, UV light breaks stuff

I would fan dry on wax/parchment paper for 24 hours - if they arent cracker dry by then, I would use a desiccant to completely dry them out.

oh btw- when you dry them the bugs "should" come out of the gills and such.

well i just want them to dry my college is anti drugs and so are my roommates yes i know they are legal and biology class experiment isnt gona work as excuse i just want them to be safe to eat i have used amanita many times but i order then from online and make tea,eat,and smoke a blunt of herbs,wormwood,and amanita cap when you do all that you get ripped and its very euphoric with sensaisa and everything looks underwater and moves o i love it and the feeling of peace and bonding with people amnaita rule i was planing on collecting some of these vermont ones yellow mixing them with siberian and arizona ones

peace try my way and for the tea use honey sugar and cream and if you want throw some white tea and green
