I just heat my cracker up with a lighter after I use it (I have a metal cracker) and it's good to go in about 30 seconds.

Yeah.. don't be like the idiot kids in my neighborhood that thought they could use their NOS bottles to get nitrous hits. One ended up in the hospital for a while, almost died. Nitrous for cars is not medical/food grade nitrous.. it has sulfur and other toxic shit mixed in with it.

Use the "whip-it" brand.

It's medical grade for whipped cream use. Most excellent.

yeah, that wasn't the problem. it was something wrong with the black rubber part i think because i took it off and put it back and it worked great again and slowly began getting worse.. but i did it again and the same thing happened. so its definitely not the cold.. something else.

Nitrous is super fun! Have a good time but ALWAYS USE A BALLOON! The reason why is because nitrous can be cold enough to cause frostbite. You can get frostbite on your vocal chords and not realize it because the nitrous itself kills the pain. Frostbite on your vocal chords can leave you with a speech impediment! Erowid talks about this. Don't take it directly from the dispenser. ALWAYS USE A BALLOON!!!

i've only done it one time and i thought i was dying
i quit doing any drugs and even drinking for like a year after that
it scared me

i would recommend using a balloon though because
1)the gas is very very cold when it comes out and can hurt you
2) with a balloon you can inhale then exhale back in the balloon and do it again a few times. more bang for your buck.
