spores in perlite

My perlite layer in my terrarium is absolutely black with spores - should i replace this as is it going to invite contams?? Or can i be lazy and spray some h202 on the sporeshadows??

I am assuming you have h2o2 in the water that is in the perlite so now you do not have to worry spraying the shadows with some more solution will just make sure the shroomy spores are dead

Thankfully i do, but i was just worried that all those spores might be nutrients for nastier molds...

i dont know of any molds that can feed on spores. i think your safe.
