?Water?

Help I am 5 min away from firing up the pressure cooker and I do not know about the water lever.

I am using smaller jars then normal...1/2 pnt and I was wondering do I submerge them in water or what?

Do I fill the PC up to the top with water?

1/2 pint jars are normal.

you want to have 1" of water in your PC with your jars in it, not submerged. NEVER fill the PC up to the top with water.

Then you aren't PC'ing correctly. If the weight is just lightly bopping like it should be, then you don't loose too much water. Foolow the PC directions and you should be OK with the water.
