My two grow bags, would it make since to case both, in a five pound bag from Ten Sub? Or one? Besides the fact that this will become a bulk substrate....what other benefits in this additional step? Higher potency?

I've found a definate potency increase when using shit. I've also noticed that poop just works a whole hell of a lot better, I've never gotten as many pins as I did with horse shit. 1 grow bag per 5 lbs should be fine but to make it go faster you might want to do both, or you could get 10 pounds and do that much more..good luck

I gather and prepare my own poop (well not MY poop, per say. Don't think that would work very well, besides... eewwwww!)
But seriously, as long as it's horse dung, and has been leached or composted, it should work great. I pasteurize in the oven in an oven bag w/a meat thermometer. 95% success colonizing... just need to get the hang of casing and fruiting.

My only concern is that... all of my coir/verm cases have had a 100% success rate, granted Ive only done this 2 times...but why add another step? Is there a greater risk of contam with poo? And doesn't the whole process take longer? Like another 2 weeks if I were to crumble my bags in it?

but if you follow the dirrections of a tek...this will lessen the chances of contams.

What the hell, what I will do is case one of my bags in coir /verm and the other in a 5lbs of horse shit. So just crumble up my bag, and put it under five pounds of shit, incubating at 80 degrees and I'm good to go.....By the way thanks for putting your answers to my questions in "potato head language" Roadkill!!!!
