SPORE SYRINGE

I just received my spore syringe and the spores in it look like they are floating in a big snot. It looks like there is water in the syringe, but the spres look like they are in a snot. And this the the Puertorican Strand. The tresure coast strand looks like it has nothing in the Syringe but water.

Is this normal? Can someone explain this to me!

shake it up real good, bust that snot up! don't worry about not seeing the spores, there in there. it doesn't take alot to get the job done!

could it be mycelium growing in the syringe, like as in honey water. maybe there was some sort of food source in the syringe and the spores germinated and started growing. and i have also heard of some strains that are such agressive colonizers that they will do this.
but hell i don't know, i'm still a newbie myself...just my2 cents.

Just dealt with this one from my own syrnges. It is thought by myself and others that this is myc. growing off of the casings of the spores themselves. There is nothing wrong with them. I have innoculated from several syringes like that with no problems. Just try to shake them up which I know is damn near impossible. It helps if there is a little air in the syringe.
