How many times a week do you get: "you look exactly like this guy/girl i used to know", or "I swear I have met you before, you look so familiar" from people you KNOW you have never met.
I get this shit constantly. I would say, every other night that i go out, I get one of the above statements, from all different types of people. I really cant understand it at all, because it happens wherever i go in the US.

in school I had a lot of people I didnt know walk up and call me by someone elses name, several years later my mother walked up to a guy in a grocery store and started a conversation with someone, she thought he was me, I moved to where I am now and have learned that a guy a few doors down also looks like me, I've met 2 of these guys and the resemblance is uncanny
yeah, I hear it a lot too.

Someone approached me in highschool and asked if this other kid was my younger brother cause we looked so similar...lets just say when I saw him it was a blow to my confidence
Some people said I looked like Jared Leto in Requiem for a Dream, but I think thats just because I had a similar hairstyle to him, and I was skinny and pale as fuck.
Also when I was a lot younger (maybe 10-12) I was walking with my mom at a cross country meet, and some guy approached me and started asking me questions I had no clue about. After he figured out I wasn't who he thought I was he insisted that I looked identical to some kid he knew.
Thats about it for me, it's definately not a common event.

Oh yeah, I get the Jesus thing occasionally. Like they just saw Jesus the other day, and whaddya know, he's still sporting the long hair and goatee. We could be brothers, since I am a child of god...

I get mistaken for other people pretty frequently...once, the manager of one of the clubs here seen me and I was escorted past a huge line-up of people along with my friends because the manager 'knew who I was and it was an honor to have me in their establishment' I just played along...to this day I have no idea who he thought I was.

I don't if I'm mistaken for them or people just like poking fun but I've been called: Carrot Top Sideshow Bob and Justin Guarini, former contestant on American Idol.
