forwarding encrypted PM's
    #4685110 - 09/20/05 03:51 AM (11 years, 2 months ago)

I tried to forward a bunch of my PM's to my e-mail, and I can't read the messages that are encrypted. What can I do?

anyone? Is there a way I can unencrypt/read the messages after sending to another e-mail account?

Unfortunately, the short answer is right now this is not possible. I guess you could copy the contents of the e-mail, send it to yourself as a PM (NOT an encrypted PM), then decrypt it like normal. Not very user friendly though.

I'll have to add a prompt, where if you try to e-mail youself an encrypted PM it asks for your passphrase and decrypts it first.

Of course e-mailing the PM as plaintext somewhat defeats the purpose of the encryption.

Anyway I'll add this to my to-do list.

Peace,

-Y
