san pedro healing.

I learned of san pedro's healing ability after handling the flesh and tissue when i was using it for other purposes. within the night. i could feel new skin growing on my wound i had gotten the day before. a pretty nasty and deep cut. and within the morning after handling, it was about 90% better. i then later researched the healing powers of the pedro. I am gettin my wisdom teeth (all four) removed this friday. so i am assuming if i give a good mixture of pedro, and garlic for its antibacterial properties, i can recover even more quickly then most friends i know who it usually takes them about 3-5 days. has anyone else used pedro for its healing abilities? and in my mixture of garlic and pedro juice, what else could i add for good measure and any antiseptic properties?

not the least bit of a buzz through the skin? many plants are used in the way you describe your pedro use... i just hadn't heard of pedro being used but have already known of peyote pomade which the natives claim to be good for so many health issues...

well, no buzz, but the only reason i healed my cut up, because it was on my hands while peeling the cacit, so slime went all over wound. therefore gettin the antiseptic properties to work. i cannot find any info about the skin healing faster is from internal use of the pedro or just by rubbing slime on the skin. not very much documentation is on the internet. i guess the next time i have a wound (this friday) i will just put it on my wisdom teeth. but i will still try again when i have a average cut. put some slime on my cut, and see if it heals from external use. because i have not found documentation if its external or internal use that actually healed my wound. its just a matter of finding out myself by the process of elimination. i am however not going to cut myself just to speed up the wait. hahaha i guess i just have to have someone slash me with their dagger? i dunno whatever. If anyone has any more info to add, i'd love to see some more documents talking about healing properties of cacti. peace.

i don't really doubt the pedro actually has the proprieties you describe! btw good luck with your wisdom teeth... do you think it's worth the risk to make such test on yourself? i mean, you don't wanna risk to trigger an infection... that would be nasty!

thanks man, its worth a try, i don't think it could hurt to try. haha my Oral Surgeons name is Dr. Fear, i don't think theres much to worry about because my best friend actually had the same doctor last week for his teeth to get removed.
but as soon as i test the pedros power, i'll reply and update. and as soon as i get an actual cut or scrape, i'll try the pedro once more. because i really want to get to the bottom of this.

actually this thread you started points up something that passes unnoticed - the medicinal proprieties which ALL entheogens have - i believe such topics are not the most common over here because most people come here are straight or average westerns and for health problems they're going to check a specialist so the entheogens are best for 'trips'... try the www.ayahuasca.com boards there is a specific forum for healing there.
