question about using silicon as self healin injection point

is there a special type of silicone you have to use, like high heat, or anything like that or will any silicone hold up to PC'ing??

I use liquid nails but any silicone will do.

i was planning on getting some to put over my holes in my lids.. dose it hold up pertty good.. or do you have to replace it ever couple uses??
