I just met alex trebek (host of jeopardy) at the parliment buildings in ottawa. He was real nice too, he was with his daughter.

Usually I don't get too excited about that stuff...but when i saw David Byrne at an arcade fire concert I walked up to him, touched his arm and said "You are so awesome." He looked bugged out and sorta said thanks all wide-eyed with fright at the big haired stoner talking to him.  It made my day.
Um, my friends knocked over Kieran Culkin, so I met him that way.
Saw Bruce Willis when I was young in an amusement park with one of his kids, he was kind of a dick.

Yeah, the reason we knocked him over was because we always called it the Culkin, from when they tried to do it to Macaulay.

I saw Mr T at the mall a couple years ago. I didnt get a chance to talk to him, he was surrounded by two old black ladies.

Just a week ago, I was running sound at a bar, just got done setting up, when a van pulls up in the parking lot and the guys in the band say, "hey look, adrian is here".
I go about my business turning knobs and whatnot when i look up and see Adrian Belew in front of me. At that exact moment, i had "Happy with what you have to be hapy with" in the cd player. Got him to autograph that, and then started praying to any possible higher power for him to just get on stage and play.

Shook Woody Harrelson's hand, saw Matthew McCaughnehey, Elizabeth Hurley, and the rest of the cast of EDTV at the premiere, brought a room service order to George Straight (really short), heard George Clooney's voice over the phone, saw him from the back between two friends/bodyguards, talked to Dennis Miller on the phone, there might be others......

The most well known person that I've met is Snowy White. I met him when he was playing with Roger Waters on the In The Flesh tour. He was driving a truck with kickass Wall animation painted on it.
I've also met Tim Skold...he now plays bass for Marilyn Manson, but I met him a few years before he was playing with Manson. Ummm, I'v emet Ogre and Cevin Key from Skinny Puppy. Met all of the new KMFDM lineup. Smoked pot with them actually.
My favorite person that I have met is Raymond Watts. That man is a god.

I've seen a couple celebs up close but I didn't say anything to them. In sanfran I was walking down the street and Seinfeld walked by. Couple months ago I walked passed Russel Crowe in a small town. It's weird when you see someone from TV just walk by you, and it's weirder that nobody seems to bother them.

I met MC Hammer at the train station in DC. He's a cool guy.
Also met Bill Clinton a couple of times. One time he did a speech at the New River in my town and he came with me and my family to eat at the resturaunt that I worked at.
And of course Doc Watson. His wife used to babysit me while he and my dad were off practicing for mearlfest.

Several years ago I met Denis Leary while wandering the streets of Manhattan. He was just kicking it with some chick and I walked over and chatted with him. He was really cool, snagged an autograph and everything.
I saw Dave Chappele in DC at Reagan airport but didn't say anything to him. He had a HOT ass asian chick with him and a very young toddler.

I've met mostly sports players. When I was in my early teens my dad had a ton of VIP boxes to any sports events around Pittsburgh, so I got to meet a lot of Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates players.
Being in Alaska the last few years, I don't think I've seen anyone for a while.

Puck from the real world begged me for a peyote picture i had, and bought me McDonalds...
My old roommate was really good friends with "smalls" from The Sandlot, so we called him over a bet my friend and I had about whether or not christopher walken smoked pot...
On another bet, while playing Tony Hawk 3, there was an argument over who invented the Mctwist, so we called Mike Mcgill in California and asked him, he said "well, some say i did".
just the other week or so, i was on the Better than Ezra tour bus smoking out, then the lighting guy threw a hotel party after commandeering all the beer and liquor, i never saw a gallon of Glen Livet before....
I got to do sound check on all of Galactics equipment after helping install their N.O. studio. then we shot the shit about lynard skynard for some reason...
I see Keith Urban about twice a week, that guy is always hanging around town.
