Fruiting at 80 degrees.

i have a cake in a terr. with light on it 12/12, fanning it 2-3 times a day, rh at 95-100%, but the temp is only at 80 degrees, is 80 too low of a temp?
isnt it supposed to be at like 90?

ahh no, try going the other way on the thermometer. around 75 is good for fruiting.

I like to fruit at 73 to 76 degrees F.

74-77F is optimum fruiting temp for cubies. 80 can work although yield can suffer.

My friend uses frozen water bottles to keep the temp down, keep a couple in the freezer and just change them out once the ice melts inside them. If you freeze a bottle of water, make sure the you squeeze the bottle a little bit before you put the lid on, it will swell once frozen.
