PASTEURIZED, or STERILIZED

i dont get the difference here. So i dont have to pressure cook the substrate so long as i collected the cow dung from a pasture? because wild cow dung is resistant to contamination?

We sterilize substrates like BRF/WGBR/RYE/WBS, and we pasteurize any and all bulk substrates, such as straw, horse manure, cow manure, worm castings, etc. Do you understand the difference between sterilize and pasteurize? You'll need to pasteurize poo regardless of where it comes from, unless you got it in the mail pre pasteurized.

well, ive had some people say not to pressure cook it and i ask why. then someone else said there was a bacteria in pasteurized manure so i could 'relax' alittle with sterilization.

ok well to be more specific...

"because wild cow dung is resistant to contamination? "

was the main portion i was referring to. that would be completely inaccurate.
