Give Mycosupply a shout about this in an e-mail or pm.

When we use paypal it says the only way we are protected is if we send to a verified member with a verified address.

I did this and they still froze my account.
Be carefull paypal is not fool proof.

Mail personell are supposed to mail by address, not name. When you are dealing with hundreds of pieces of mail a day, they don't even bother looking at the names, only addresses.

This guy sounds phoney!

maybe in canada max, but not so in the us. In fact, one of the criteria for "suspicious" mail is that it is either lacking a name, or that the name is of a person who doesn't live there. When dealing with delivering mail to the exact same addresses day after day, it doesn't matter how many pieces of mail a delivery person handles, they know who lives where.

not that it has anything to do with some dude rippin people off though....

Hey! Maybe has not received his order. I doubt anyone would go through a lot of trouble to rip you off $15. If he is trying to rip you off, that sucks. But, he does say "If the product was sent back please notify me so this can be resolved quickly."

If the product is sent back...........see?

BTW, if you start posting customer address, I think you should be immediately banned.
Just the thought of a vendor posting a customer's address because the vendor assumes the customer is trying to defraud him makes me sick.

Handing out the name and address to other vendors is pretty shady too. I mean, you have not established the guy has done anything wrong...........but you are willing to pass out his name a addy? He is a customer man. If this is how you treat customers, one day you may find you don't have any left.

I think you are paranoid or maybe just bored. Good Luck

mycofile is right about the different or no names being one of the 'suspicious mail' criteria and it is one of my pet peeves when poeple don't include a name of some sort with their address.
I'm still sending out mail that has no name or 'Mr. G' or BoBo the Clown'...but nevertheless, it still all seems to arrive ok.
People do recieve mail for buddies crashed on the couch, relatives staying for a month or a friend who doesn't want ti sent to his place. It's all perfectly legal and acceptable. The mailman has no business making judgements, he should be reported for not delivering the mail.
There is the occasional package that simply goes missing, breaks open in the mail or is addressed wrong. I replace these no questions asked. It's a hassle sometimes but apparently the 'customer is always right'. It's easier just to replace it rather than argue about it.

I know what you mean about some emails just feeling 'bad' and turning out to be. I felt that way when nugdumper offered to trade and sure enough, he ripped me off.

I'll keep an eye out for this guy and report any further developments.

Hey I do not care, really. I was just trying to help you out.
Your post made you look like someone that is not to be
ordered from. If I were a seller of something that posted
that in an area where my customers could see it, I would
edit it as soon as I took my medicine and realized what
I had done. That is all. Good Luck. If you continue to defend
your position of handing out your customer's names and
addresses to other vendorts and people who claim to be
vendors, I would lump you in the McMan catagory myself.

But, I do not think you deserve that. I think you made a mistake
and need some time to realize it.

I think this kid does not have a voice here and this should never have been brought up in public. But that's just me. He can't very well jump in this conversation and defend himself cause then his location would be exposed.

I mean, if I order something from you and I do not receive the package and I write you an e-mail, are you going to publish my city and state here and tell vendors not to send to send to this city and state? I would hope not because if I ever were to grow again I would want some of those filter thingies you advertise.

I'm not ragging on you, I just think this is not a good place to publicaly anounce such things.

Now I've been accuse of having a good dose of paranoia, even so I really don't thing your mail is being watched by officials. But, if they are don't you think my warning might protect the community? What do you think PGF?

I do not understand how this is protecting the community. There was a lost piece of mail. If he gets busted and sends you an e-mail and then you tell other vendors, I think that would help the community.

At least your last post cleared up that you are not accusing him of wrong doing. That's good.

I think you should send me free filter things for helping you out so much here. (-:
I'll take twenty if you can spare them. Thanks.

In reply to:

I'm thinking about developing bad address database that vendors could run an address threw and see if any mail has been lost or has past a bad credit card. Only approved vendor would have access to this.

So you are thinking of keeping "bad" customer lists eh! Good to know.

If other vendors intend to use this list or do the same please keep the community informed.

If you or any other vendors intend to keep any other coustomer lists please keep us posted.

Dude he will not and should not post here cause then his psuedo name could be paired with his fucking address seeing as how you posted his town and state here and gave his name and addy to anyone who e-mailed you for it.

Look I was being nice, but if you want to get into it, let's go. What you did was stupid and fucked up and I can make you see that , if that is what you need.

I chose to be nice about it cause I really think you are just paranoid and you thought what you were doing was OK.

Your initial post made whoever the guy is look like a scammer. And, you breached several common sense rules when dealing with things that may get someone in trouble..........

Just be cool little vendor. It's the holidays. Be cool.

In reply to:

Well IF you claimed I mislabled so the "mailman" wouldn't deliver it. YES if I'm 100% sure I labeled it correctly. However if it was a lost package NO. I'm thinking about developing bad address database that vendors could run an address threw and see if any mail has been lost or has past a bad credit card. Only approved vendor would have access to this.

...keeping any type of "customer" (bad or good) info where that said person could be tracked with such list is nothing short of vacuous and imperil on both parts; the delivering party & the recieving party.

if this list was to happen, i'd be eschewed from having anything to do with a business with such practices. and im pretty sure others share the same opinion.
not because i'd rip anybody off, but because the nature of the hobby/business.
