it's all the same. Cubes are cubes.
This has been debated....oh, ONE MILLIONS TIMES.
What is good for one strain, is good for another...
great.. well great for a strain is something only a pro can know.

Pierre, why don't you take it easy on the guy. They just joined today, much like yourself.

Valic, take Kotton's advice. Just read up on a few teks and you will find growing conditions for all those strains are basically the same

No, they really aren't the same.  Although cubes share the same food sources, no two strains are that much alike.  Grow out 10 different strains in as much of a controlled fashion as you can (i.e. identical substrates/environment) and the unique qualities of different cubes will surface.

A cube is a cube is a vague statement and not all that true.  However, no one has it down pat to the point where you can recommend certain strains over others for general questions such as this.  Grow 'em all and find out what you like best.  Each strain is an adventure in itself.  :mushroom2:

there is truth to what your saying but basically all cubes share the same growing preferences. think about it. if you were growing 2 different strains chances are you wouldnt isolate the 2 to two different atmospheres or enviroments. unless your running expiriments i guess.

What you're saying is true, but that's pretty much what I covered by saying they share similar substrates/environment. The debate could go on forever and everyone has their opinions, but I guess it what it boils down to for me is this: each and every cube strain I've tried has been so different and interesting from the next, I would simply never consider a cube to be just another cube.

And then there are the trips themselves, which definitely magnify differences between the strains in my experience.

I agree part of the fun is trying out different strains to see which one you like best.
