Hey folks,
Bow down. I found these in the Monroe, WA area, yesterday, Sept. 17, 2005. They were found in a small null of grass, alongside a fairly busy one lane road. Just three of them, but hey its the first active, I've found, this season.
Semi's:

This mushrooms is a cyanescen lookalike. For newb hunters, this might get the adreneline pumping. The very fuzzy stem and cap are a dead give-away, that this is not of psilocybian descent. Although, I do not know what it is.
Lookalike:

And I believe these to be "Faerie Ring" mushrooms, but I don't really know.
Here:

Well, have a good day, and it's time to start lookin' for libs.

yes, P. semilanceata is the liberty cap. they are fairly easy to ID if you know their characteristics, but there are some similar looking species that should not be eaten.

Thanks folks,
Yeah, I'm totally pumped, 'cause I've never actually found Libs, before now. That's 'cause I always hunted wood-lovers. I'm definitely gonna keep my eyes out for 'em, now.
I think I know of a good P. Baeosystis patch, too. It's a long ways away.
