help IDing some forest mushrooms please!

Hello folks!

My girlfriend is a birder so I'm in the woods everyday, and I always find some interesting mushies in the woods. I figured I'd try to get some of the ones I see every day IDed. Here are some morel-like mushies that I find all over the place:

Habitat: Forest, mostly coniferous. Along a trail for the most part.
Gills: none, at least that I can recognise!
Stem: varies in length, usually about the same size as the brain-looking cap. white-grey in color, white on the inside. Shares brain-like quality of cap: hollow.
Cap: dark grey, looks like a brain.
spore print: ??
Bruising: none that I can see.
Scent: Very faint shroomy smell. Reminiscent of the taste of Psilocybes (heh).

Here's another that I think may be coprinus atramentarius:

Habitat: Forest, mostly coniferous. Along a trail for the most part.
Gills: Black, all the same length, tightly packed, unattached to stem.
Stem: White, hollow, fibrous. Slightly larger at base.
Cap: grey, smooth but not slimy. Starthing to get inky around the edges. there were some younger, non-inky ones there as well, with caps more in the shape of coprinus comatus (cylindrical, maybe?)
spore print: ?? (working on it)
Bruising: none that I can see.
Scent: Very faint shroomy smell, almost like rubber.

I'm located in Northern Newfoundland (Northern Peninsula), if that helps at all.

Thanks in advance!
