hey,

i just finished reading blissedout's post on his clean-out, and i got to wondering what type of people mushroom people are. so I ask on, on a scale of 1 to 10, how messey are you? 1 being a total clean freak like Monk, and 10 being a total slob like...well, i can't think anyone at the moment because i just finished watching monk...but you get the idea.

do you think mushroom people are neater or messier than the general population?

i put myself at a 2.5, pretty far on the neat side. i don't need to have everything in its exact place, but i do like to have a clean floor and know where all of my things are so i can get to them whenever i need to. but i do have a problem with leaving dishes in the sink too long.

im interested to see what everyone has to say

Damn, monks a 1?

I'm like a 4 then. I keep my place CLEAN, but it tends to get MESSY. Which is totally different. You wont even find much dust or mildew, or a scummy bathroom with stuff growing in the shower. I keep my shit in tip top shape. So fresh and so clean, clean. I vacuum a few times a week and dust like every other day. Bathroom gets cleaned AT LEAST once a week, along with the kitchen. Like straight scrubbing with a tooth brush and mopping the flow clean. Booya.

But I have a lot of useless crap laying around that has no place or purpose. So the place gets messy and cluttered from time to time. I usually gather all the crap up and throw it in a drawer or something.

Me too. If I go and work a long week and drink only a few a day, then shit stays under control, but if I have some off mornings and/or I make a shit ton one night, I will get hammered. Then, my place will get cluttered with all manner of debris that I will not pick up until like two weeks later. I am a slacker, unless I am at work, then I am meticulous. I can't figure it out.

Same here, and I have thought about why that is. It could be that you work so hard at work every day, especially if your pulling overtime, so that is the excuse I use to let things go at times. And it is then that someone unexpected comes over who has never been over before.

i'm somewhere between a 3 and a 5... depending on my mood and my lazyiness... all in all i'm very organized, but i am too lazy to clean most of the time... so it's kinda dusty around here... but it's not too bad...
