ok so i have a mycobag but i dont want to fruit it in the bag rather birth it and make "cakes". I am thinking of slicing it into smaller cakes but i dont want to dry it out, what would be the best size to cut cakes? and can i just cut away the bag once it is colonized.
thanks,
Dan

I have some mycobag too, I even not inoculate them, so I can't tell you for right.
But I thought of cut off the upper part of the bag, put some vermivulite on it and put aluminium part to make it darker on the botom (in order to not have side pinning on the bag) and put the bags in the fruiting chamber.
I think it could be a good ID, but I let the real "mush-men" talk about.
Good luck
