    #4673579 - 09/17/05 12:11 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

The local mesquitos have been geting daily meals of Szaman blood for some time ... last season I found litearly , hundreds and hundreds of fly agaric in one spot , and have been going back to same spot day after day, even after the rains, the mists the fog, there is nothing what so ever emerging, and I only picked a select few of the fly agarics last year.. They arent back yet, has anyone found Fly Agaric at all this season, in thurston county especialy ? I have been from Elbe, ashford, out to Elma and Montesano , and seen not a single one , lots of chanterelles, and what as disturbing as it sounds, is almost certinaly Amanita Phalloides up above ashford and elbe around 3000' ...In great abdunance , no idea how it go there .. For fly agaric... Am I just looking in the wrong places ? if they are out , I guess my little eggplant purple Geometro is going to get some more work ... I haven't seen any yet this year, but I don't really go out of my way to look for them. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see a few up already though. if they were there last year, they'll be back soon enough, just keep an eye out...

 they still in the ' round ' stage ? not flattened out ? :P What would be nice, is to find a patch just starting to fruit , and then have some clear days ' No rain ' so that I could take some art supplies out there -Tranceharper
