Rye sterilization

My bags of "pre-sterilized" rye berries that I just received in the mail three days ago have a number of berries that are light green and or blackish. Does this sound normal?
After three days of watching no extra grow I am about to inoculate...I have never worked with these as a spawn and dont have any clue.Please help a fairly inexperienced wannabe...

Doesn't sound ok to me. I would either autoclave again for 1 or 1.5 hours (depending on size of the bags) or I would wait 1 week to see if there is really no forein growth. Personaly I would do the first one, because then one is sure that they are clean...
