looks like it could be used in a small room to help cut down on contams, although it would smell like a hospital!

you can get a hepa filter and it won't smell like anything

That shit's good for eliminating the smell of pot smoke. That's about it. Get some lysol. Cheaper and smells better.

Would lysol work by just spraying it the air?

yeah it works but dont rely on a can of lysol to sterilize your room. when i started in my closet i took everything completely out and washed the walls, floor, and the door then cleaned everything i put back in there. then spray the lysol to kill airborne contams. but once your space is clean lysol will do wonders for keeping it clean; just dont let ANY of it on your cakes/casings. if you spray around your terrariums, i would wait at least an hour before opening the terrarium for any reason.
