Hello all. I was just wondering if I could get some recommendations on a good vendor for lab supplies. Petri dishes, innoculation loops, MEA, etc. All links are appreciated.

Dr. Bluethumb's does have good prices on there supplies... another good place to look around for supplies is ebay, I got 3 dozen glass petri dishes (kimble kimax) for $20 and I got a case of six 500ml erlenmeyer flasks for $8. I haven't looked for anything other than glassware on ebay though.

they have a case of 500 disposable dishes on there right now for 12 dollars...but the glass ones are always somuch more expensive

I got a 1000ml erlenmeyer flask at a local home brew shop for under $10. I was surprised they had it.

I think the best place to look is sporeworks

Go to www.sporeworks.com and you can get pre-mixed agar mixture and petri dishes...

Just recently ordered from them, great service and great products.
