Senate Majority Leaders on Rebuilding Costs
    #4670587 - 09/16/05 06:10 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

"This time, we will make sure that the money is spent wisely and the public is not gouged."

Uh huh. Only EVERY SINGLE major government project of the last hundred + years has been laden with fraud and padded costs and inferior materials and overruns, but this time; THIS TIME will be different.

JEEEZUS!

Hmmm. If the norm is for government projects to be laden with fraud and padded costs and inferior materials and overruns, and you believe this time will be no different, does that mean you oppose spending federal dollars on the rebuilding of New Orleans?

Just asking.
