In you opinion, wheres the nicest place to go camping? I live in NJ so i wanted to go someplace within a state or so but out of NJ. My friends and i were thinking Virginia, New York (maybe Catskills) or Pennsylvania. We want to go someplace secluded and have nice scenery to hike on. Can anyone help me out?

Right on man!

I wish I could help you out with other nice sites, but I'm not too familiar with that area. Your best bet would be to google it. Every state has a web site with information about state parks, and often regional parks.

What area are you from? I have some knowledge of camping, but it is based, mostly, in the eastern U.S.

Hmm...I didn't ever camp when I was in PA, but if you get into the Appalachians, I'll bet that there is some great spots to camp/hike.
