Hey guys/girls. I'm new to the shroomery, but i had a quick question. I recently started a couple PF style cakes. I noticed my best cake had 3 speckles of green growing right on the mycelium. The dots were very small maybe 2-3 dots the size of a grain of sand. Today i looked at my jar and it seems the green dots are almost gone. Could the mycelium fought off the con-tam or should i still throw it out? Right now i have it quarantined for studying;)

Keep it for Observation, If colonization time stalls, or the green starts spreading then chuck it. Mycelia can fight off contams, if it gets the good foot-hold. Id let it colonize until 100% + at least a week, then birth into a bag and break it up. If it is all white your good, case it and keep it separated(just in case). If any miss-coloring id throw it out!
