    #4667883 - 09/15/05 10:59 PM (18 years, 7 months ago)

in the Dung, Straw and Verm substrate bags featured at http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/377568/an/0/page/1 , the man sticks these bags into a pressure cooker. Can i get similar bags that can go into the pressure cooker like that? Where can i find some of these?

you dont PC shit because you want the benificial bacteria that is in it. that is why you just pasturize it.

You can PC it, but make sure you REALLY follow sterile procedures when adding spawn and incubating. Pasturizing kills the nasties and allows the beneficial bacteria (fire fang) to live, which means you can relax a little with the sterile procedures.
