How do you know if its overlay?

Ok, my S&M porn midgets have birthed their casing of trasure coast about 3 days ago. They cold shocked them and the tank is at 71.5 - 76.2 degrees to be exact, and fanned 2x daily. The walls are not dripping with condensation but they are wet so i assume the hum is right. What the midgets are afraid of is that they got some overlay going(just a feeling, first time casing). How do you know if it is overlay, and how do you fix it if you can. Also when should pins show, from cake experience, it should be soon. Mycelium growth has slowed so I assume the network is beefing up? If you guys could let me know, do you think its paranoia, or a problem? Thnkx.

Overlay appears as a thick impenetrable mat of mycelia. You should see pins within a week.
