YEAH BC!!! Damn I love BC. I used to live very close to you and can probably guess which town you live in or near. You guys have the best pot. Anyway, perlite is the way to go. As far as TC my experience is that it is a slow growing shroom, a little touchy but well worth the wait and the sensativity. Feel free to PM me and we can talk more.

Switched to perlite from the ultra sonic. I think it is less of a hastle to keep up with and works well. My S&M porn midgets got tc going they do take a while, but i agree they are worth it. you will see the cold shocking tek around when the time comes i advise it highly with tc.

Briefly, you make an h202 solution and add it to perlite untill its very moist, not wet. It is voolcanic and reatins water in its pours to release as apposed to vermiculite which soaks up water. In a tank perlite is enough to naturally increase hum to necesary levels. Any veterans, feel free to correct me. Most of what you need is on shroomery.org. goto grow/find link -> growing mushrooms -> growing P. Cubensis and than check out the PF tek first. Easiest for beginners.

Perlite is wonderfull Magic Man. It does a nice job of keeping your terrarium nice and moist. I highly advocate the use of Peroxide in whatever water you use to moisturize your shroomies. It could save you from a shitload of contamination. Just don't put to much in your water. I put about a cap full of 3% H2O2 in my spray bottle. It doesn't seem to effect the mycelium at all really. I'm sure some strains might be more sensitive to it, especially Pans cause they're weird anyway. Heh, heh, I use a vacum cleaner to suck out the CO2 in my terrarium. Just lift the lid and stick the hose in for about a minute, three times a day. Those Treasure Coast spores are a bitch to get growing. I tried using a syringe to no avail. Maybe I'll try them again someday. Personally, I like the more vigorous strains and I think they are much better suited for a newbie (i.e. Amazonian, Cambodian, Koh Samui, etc...) Yes, Canadian Pot rocks! (Had a friend when I was in college who procured it somehow, almost flunked Physics.) LOL! Northern Lights!!! Purrr, Catzeye
