Hello I hope this is the right place to introduce myself, so here I am.

I've lately developed an interested in psilocybin mushrooms and their attributes so I guess this is the ultimate online resource for me. I have read a lot of the FAQ and guides and you guys really seem to know your stuff!

I am a complete newbie and have only tripped once so far, it was in Amsterdam where they are available over the counter so my friend and I bought a box of "philosophers stones" or p. tampanensis (sp). It was an amazing experience and something I hope to do again now in Britain. Unfortunately they are now a Class A drug so looks like I'm going to have to go hunting. Hopefully it will pay off! :cool:

A few of my friends have had successful trips to a nearby mental hospital grounds (quite ironic?) where they seem to grow. Personally I have a bit of common sense and have decided to consult this site before going looking. But yeah they grow everywhere at home, in our gardens etc. I'm in Scotland now though for university so I'm eager to see if I can successfully find some nearby :smile:

If not I might try to grow my own although it seems like a fairly difficult process.....

It's not difficult at all. It can get quite complex, but to simply produce fruits is easier than science labs you completed when you were younger.

To be clear it is fairly difficult. You seem like a smart guy though so you shoudn't have a problem.

What I mean by difficult is it's not like growing pot, for example. And you need a couple of bucks to invest in a spore syringe, pressure cooker, containers and supplies. Well worth it though imo.

I'll do a bit more research into the whole cultivation process. Got plenty of time on my hands at uni and with having worked in horticulture a little before I reckon I could manage it.
