"Level Five" tripping

I've heard a bunch of different stories about people who take like 8 grams of dried shrooms and go through a " level five " trip...Out of body experience, meeting God, blah blah blah, etc...
I have a question for those who have had a level five tripping experience. Once you're at the peak of the trip, is it still possible to stay in touch with reality? Like, can you still make your way to the bathroom or kitchen or smoke a cigarette...? Or are you just completely fucked until you come down?

That's not enough shroom for a real level five. I took 5/8ths of Cubensis and had a level five.

That is not a level 5 trip, by definition.

never been there, ive had the world melt away and still not what id call a 5. if you can go to the bathroom or have a smoke you arnt at level 5 just by definition, pry not even close. MO

On a level 5, you'll be lucky if you can crawl, much less walk to the bathroom, much less recognize where the bathroom is. If getting to the bathroom is a big deal, wear a diaper.

i wont deny she had a powerful experience, so yeah it definatly counts for something, but how i interperate that system of rating level 5 would be reserved for something more extreme then thinking you are somewhere else, or not knowing where you are which can happen on alcohol. a level 4 is one of those few in a life time things, and a level 5 would and probably should be a once in a lifetime if ever thing. once again MO

You can have a level 5 trip and not be so confused as to not know where you are. If you cant make it to the bathroom, your in a whole different boat given what a level 5 trip is.

While trippin i kept wonderin what level my trip was and i figured a 5... but now i know my first trip was a level 4... 5 or 6 grams dried... first time, kinda scary but, worth it...

i have had 1 level 5 trip. I was so lost I could faintly think that I would like to have a cigarette and i just couldn't remember how to get up and get 1 nonetheless light it. Now getting to the bathroom just hope that you don't have to go that bad. If you do and are able to go you will need a shower

I think that you can't think about a cigarette or walking or moving or who you are or what you did today or anything related to what we call reality. It's a TOTAL loss of reality. The word cigarette doesn't exist in a level 5 trip. It therefor is nearly impossible to describe... It's like a new dimension, you can't visualize, describe or understand it.

This is of course only my view on the trip levels.

I've never reached that with mushrooms. Salvia did it once...

Yeah, bounceproof that was level 4.

Level 5 is the point where the reality we live in right now is non-existant. We are one with the universe and trivial things like a cigarette becomes 100% useless/unimportant garbage.

shit then i wonder how many grams of dry cubes u gotta take to get to level 5??

cuz my first and only trip so far i dosed 7 grams and I was still much in reality, it was just hard to think.

I dont know if what Ive had so far was a level 5, but i remember at points i lost touch with reality and didnt feel like i was in my body anymore... It was more like reliving a thought or a dream. I was on the brink of complete loss of ego, cause i remember being slightly aware that I was "leaving myself"....

Words cannot describe it!

the one time i can say i was at a "level 5" place during a trip would be once when i was shot full of barbituates against my will whist on mushroooms. i was face down on an ambulance stretcher all of my vision, everything that was reality(which was a surreality after one wierd freaky trip) split right down the middle, and i just fell down in a void toward a churning psychedelic something. i remember thinking "so this is why they call it a vortex" while my astral self was being sucked down into oblivion. After then, it was like a lifelong, fully psychedelic dream, a really wierd out of body experience. i started to try to describe it, but it sounds too crazy and i'd have to type too much. but this was on like 40 -->WET<-- grams. which wasnt really what set me off like that, it was the sedatives. kind of synergized to blast me off. i thought i was never coming back. and when i was back, i thought i literally was someone completely different, and i had the most REAL hallucinizations ive ever had. odd times. id definatly call it ego death. i wish i could remember it more.

I think there are 2 different perspectives of Level 5 being discussed here.
The literal definition (what ROOM4SHROOM was talking about) which is basically total loss of reality, and the subjective definition; ego death/loss, god meeting, etc...
From a subjective, spiritual standpoint, Level 5 can't be reached by any specific dose, it can happen at any dose.
From the literal standpoint, it would take a massive amount of shrooms (more than could possibly be considered pleasant, or even healthy) to truly reach level 5, but it is possible.
