Critizism on my Terianium Idea

This is my first stage plan for a teranium, the container would either be an aquarium or a custom made plexiglass box sorta thing
There are two air pumps, one for intake, and one for co2 exaust. Is this overkill?
the incoming air gets pushed in to a loop, by taking the in hose and connecting to a t with the loop. the tubing for the loop is poked with holes to let the air escape
I thought this would make for consistant air flow, as well as help humitiy...
well, what do you guys(and gals think?

sounds like a good plan.
I don't think a drip sheild will be nessary if you are using perlite for humidity and not misting. the pump could be left on 24/ 7. I would use a clear rubber made container, driling through glass is not easy and some aqurriums will break into little beeds if you try to drill then . building a plexy glass terrium with fitting lid will take some work. keep it simple and use a clear plastic storage bin with lid.

Thanks for the input
I was originally planning on using a rubbermaid, but i thought an aquarium would give me more room to work with. Although, an reconsideration of my environment, a rubbermaid tub may be a better idea. Anyone have a specific model of rubbermaid they perfer and why? What is a good height for a rubbermaid?
I am also thinking of making a filterbox for air intake to make sure i get clean air. Here is a diagram of that...
the filterbox would probably be made of a tupperware container or a project enclosure like you can get at radioshack. Would surrounding the pumps with foam rubber in an enclosure cause them to over heat? I want to make it quiet as possible.
Do you really think it should run 24/7, couldnt that drop the humidity?
Thanks for any help!

bump...people just don't like me i guess... i hardly ever get any replies...
maybe i should make some sort of racist comment, that always seems to get people attention
Please help, i need some more expert opinions
does anyone think that 2 pumps is overkill? Would leaving it run 24/7 dry it out? is a filter for the air a good idea?
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions/putdowns/etc....

Looks like overkill. A friend of mine did a setup drilling glass aquariuams and getting glass lids and the pump and all that shit. And it was overkill.
Perlite is sufficient, even if its below your cakes. The key is to not get things too hot, so things don't dry out.
Use a small 6" flourescent light for lighting. These produce hardly no heat and are small with plenty of light. Look on ebay for a fixture, they're hard to find. Something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1665440071j
And screw the pump. They're noisy and/or expensive.

Thank you djfrog
I am thinking now that ill use a rubbermaid, and i found cheap pumps on ebay (4 for $10). I am lazy and don't want to have to fan the teranium every day, i would rather have it be selfsufficent.
I do not have to be secretive, i have my own apartment, but i dont want things to be too noisy, and arouse suspision from vistors.
Thanks again, and anymore suggestions/comments would be appreciated
