I found several mushrooms growing in some sand that was on grass in michigan. The caps were conical, the top was dark purplish and as it got closer to the edge of the cap it got lighter until it became whiteish around the edge of the cap. The spores were purplish, like the color on the top of the cap. The gills were free, i'm pretty sure, I'm saying all of this off of memory, but I remember all of the basics. I washed them off and they were firm and not very easy to rip/tear. the stem was white, prbably about 3 inches long, maybe a little less on some, the caps were about 1.5 inches in diameter. They were slippery when they were wet, and dry feeling when they were dry. The sand they were growing was on top of some grass that was in between some woods and a creek. It was also in the shade. I didn't have a camera, but I know thta some of you really know what you're talking about so you might be able to tell if they are hallucenigenic in any way. Thanks
