How old are they? If they are just little pins, they'll be alright. Its just the way they started to grow.

If they are getting to the point where the caps are about to open, though, then there is something else wrong. Chances are if they are that far in growing and are going to the ground, something is wrong with the lighting, if there is any at all. Or it could be possible that the mushroom is just too big, and so it droops over from its own weight.

maybe you have vertically challenged mushies. or maybe they march to the beat of a different drum! I know i have one massive fruit thats just growing sideways, towards the darkest part of the terrarium. His cap is a little inverted too, but I keep lettin him do his thing cuz he's growin strong. Just let them be different, its what makes this hobby interesting! =)

Thanks, its no big deal to me just a general wondering. I had one more question, I have a cake that i had forgotten about, its all healthly, but it was incubated at room temp. now would it be ok to turn on heating pad for fruiting or just leave them at room temp?

you want your temps to be lower for fruiting in the mid 70s and high 80s for incubation

what kind of Fruiting chamber are you using?
if its got perlite in the bottom i bet they're growing toward the light reflecting off the white perlite at the bottom...
i've never fruited cakes so i'm no expert but i've read enough to suspect that there is light from somewhere telling the mushrooms to go in a direction other than what you want

Good call, however mine is a casing in a corner of the terrarium, and the mush in question is "challenged"... growing quite literally for the darkest corner of said terrarium. However, for the Cubensisfreak this is probably the answer he was looking for.

Yeah cubes will grow towards perlite if they get confused. Also if you sit your cakes on alluminum foil they can grow towards that too.
