You can't slice the python
    #4659424 - 09/14/05 01:28 PM (11 years, 2 months ago)

This is the final dreaming thought I had prior to waking this morning.

When I thought about the dream, I realized that I was discussing Life. When we try to dissect it, to cut it into manageable pieces, or place it on slides underneath the microscope of science and logic, we miss the experience of the living entireity.

Certainly the whole "python" is mysterious, and we can gain some knowledge of it from our dissection, but truth of existence (IMO) is not attainable in this manner.

Does this have anything to do with "Where dead Bees go"?

The python represents knowledge and sex. You are being called to the jungle to visit the spirit plants. I will be your guide. :whoa:

Indeed, searching for life in the mechanics of cells and molecules is akin to appreciating a painting by analyzing the paint. It may be interesting in a narrow way, but is it not the true point to grasp the idea which the painting conveys?

Why concern oneself exclusively with the mechanics of a situation? This is like seeking an artist?s genius in the brushes; it is the being of the artist, not the tools, that is responsible for the beauty of a painting.

Likewise, the nature of life cannot be merely understood as the interplay of mechanistic forces. It may only be comprehended by taking in the essence behind the physics, chemistry, biology, math and other scientific outlooks. All too frequently, we become so mesmerized by life?s details that we fail to comprehend the whole.

The essence of life shall never be known by a human being as long as that person seeks to observe life like viewer-and-subject. The absolutely essential nature of life can only be comprehended by merging fully with the flow of life, so that one is utterly a part of it?

The life force, as Kundalini energy, is represented by a snake.  The healing work of Tantra is eliminating the blockages between the energy centers so that the "snake" may rise and circulate freely.

Yes... my "snake" is rising! It has good circulation now! It thinks you are trying to flirt with him.

Lorena Bobbit proved that you can "slice the python".

You're shocked? You should see my collection of "Le Octopus and Mademoiselle".
And they're not paintings, either..
