Does anyone know what these are? They were in the grass under a pine tree.

they appear to be chlorophylum molybdites, one of the lipeota mushrooms, also called fairy ring mushrooms. not a fun thing to eat. get a spore print on here for a better id. if its green then definitely c. molybdites.

Looks like Amanita Phalloids without a universal viel that can be seen in the pictures. Did you happen to notice if there was a cup at the base?

clitocybe rivululosa and chlorophyllum molybdites are two poisonous mushrooms that grow in "fairy rings" rather often.

among others.

the mushrooms presented here are none of these, who knows WHAT they are.

marasmius oreades is the typical "fairy ring mushroom", not molybdites. but lots of different mushrooms grow in fairy rings.

it looked like it would be white. it could be a lepiota species, but for a fact i really dont have a clue. i can say it does look like something that would be of poisonous background but thats only an assumption based on the white appearance of the mushroom with its white spores (not to be racist or anything  )

shit man, you could have at least waited a few hours or overnight, I hope you didn't actually eat, because nobody here even has been able to give positive id yet, but everybody thinks it look like something poisonous, wasn't that a tip-off?

At a wild guess those are Amanitas. Almost without a doubt the stupidest genus of mushrooms to eat specimens of without a positive ID. More people die from eating Amanitas than all other mushrooms put together.

If you begin to show unpleasant symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramping), seek medical attention.

Happy mushrooming!
