White fuzzies on my fruits
    #465717 - 11/21/01 03:11 PM (21 years, 10 months ago)

This is my first time and I've got three PF cakes going in a tupperware/perlite terrarium. One of my cakes has some really nice fruits going, about 8 to be exact. They are PRs and just like the pictures I've seen they are meandering all over the place.

Anyway, here's my question, at the base of some of the stems there is a white, fuzzy material. Seems like I read somehwhere on this board that it's probably mycelium and it can be caused by excess humididty. Does this sound like a contam to anyone? If it is mycelium, is that a problem?

Thanks!

It almost certainly is mycelium. It's often cause by a little too warm of a fruiting tempature. ' nuttin to worry about!
