I'll admit I am spoiled. I go to my local bar (walk there in less then 5 minutes) almost every Friday night. I know everyone there. We hang out, play pool and darts, and just generally have a good time. The bartenders all know me by name and pour my flavor without even asking. I rarely get charged for my drinks but I give good tips to the bartenders. They always give us the key to the pool table so we don't have to pump quarters into it. Last Friday night I went in with $30 at 5:30PM and left the bar with a nice buzz, an extra pack of cigs, and $5 in my pocket at 1:30 AM.
The reason this works so well for me is because this is Las Vegas. You see, the bars here make a shitload more money from the gambling then they do from the drink sales. And every bar in Las Vegas has video gaming machines lined up on the bar. So as long as you are gambling then you drink for free. And since pretty much everyone else there that I hang out with gambles the bartenders don't usually bother charging us for drinks. They don't seem to care that I never gamble a nickel as long as everyone else I am hanging out with is pumping money into the machines. The result, I drink for free. I usually kick down a $20 to the bartender at the end of the night and they are always happy to see me again the next Friday!

dance clubs are better, but yes they are pricy..but I cant meet women on any of the paid sites on the internet, so I think I will hit a dance club every once in a while, to maybe get a phone number... it is hard to meet women in this state if you party..especially if you are over 30
