Casing: Ready to move on to fruiting? [PIC]
    #4655125 - 09/13/05 03:18 PM (11 years, 2 months ago)

I cased a few WBS half-quart jars of cambodian wednesday night and after a little patching yesterday, it looks like this:

You can't really see it from the picture, but some mycelium is visible on the right side of the casing. I think this looks good to go but thought I would get a second (or third or...) opinion because I don't have much experience with casings.

Thanks,

--Aeolus

Fruit it now or you risk overlay

Ok, thanks for the advice.

I dropped the temp and humidity and am giving it plenty of air exchange.  And now we wait...

And pictures of progress will be up soon!

Dude, you don't need to worry about overlay now.

I'd wait till you get a little more coverage for a better pin set.

Hmmmm, thanks for the second opinion. At this point though is it worth it to stick it back in the incubator or would that just confuse the mycelia?

Yea the worst thing you can do, according to what I have read, is confuse it. Just let em grow. Everyone has their own opinion. And when you are done, you will have yours.
