One thing I loved growing up was getting a bowl of cereal and watching cartoons every Saturday morning. now days all you have on Saturday mornings are all jap import cartoons on 1 or 2 major networks but back in the day all the majors showed cartoons from 6am to about 12am and a couple of my favs were
1. Hong Kong Phooey 2. Superfiends
I loved those. What were some of your favs?

I grew up in the 80's so Johnny Quest was not current, but it was still played on Sunday morning.
Does anybody else think that Saturday morning cartoons have disappeared? I haven't made much of an effort to watch them, but whenever I turn on the TV on Saturday it is always local news now instead of cartoons. The "Big Three" (NBC, ABC, and CBS) got rid of their cartoons it seems. FOX still has them though.

Holy shit. I remember the Gummy Bears. I used to take all the juices that I had in my fridge, and mix them together...to hopefully be able to bounce about on my ass.
I never succeeded...

I vaguely remember shirt tails. I loved the smurfs, Muppet show and fraggle rock. Sorry I know some aren't cartoons but they are worth mentioning!

Thay were a secret race. only henry knew about them and a few bad guys in some episodes. thay probably stood about 3 or 4 inches tall. in every episode thay would show you how to make same gay little project or something...like all those 80's toons did like gi joe, superfriends, captain planet...so on and so on. Anyway i remember watching it sometimes and didn't remember it till going through this thread

Damn, I am drawing a total blank on that one.
Cause, I remember a show called Little Bits. Where they lived in the forest, and they were really tiny. It was almost like the smurfs, in a way.
