How long can u keep dried shrooms?

Just wondering if dried shrooms degrade quite quickly or if u can actually keep them for quite some time?

But anyway, as long as they're cracker-dry they should last a while (several months at least).

I ate 1.2g of 2yrs old shrooms about a month ago and they seemed just as potent. I kept them stored in a ziplock bag with some silica gel, inside a tupperware with more silica gel, covered by a regular supermarket plastic bag in the freezer (except for two or three weeks when my parents had to buy another freezer). They where still cracker dry and didn't seem to suffer any color change.

Those+weed+the simpsons=loads of trippy fun! :smile2:
