No or little pinning?

FOAF followed PF tek to the letter. Birthed several cakes in the past 10 days. Fist cake has a few pins but nothing in comparison to previous attempts. White fluffy stuff growing on the oldest cakes. However no pins. Two of these were cold shocked before birthing. Temprature might be an issue as they where colonized at room temp (70). Temp of chamber is around 74-76. All previous attmpts did use a different strain. These are Hawiian all others were PF.
Any ideas why no pinning?

maybe its the temp some say your soppose to have a 10- 15 degree drop. what is your rh?????

I guess maybe you mean his room heat? It's around 68-70 there is no exteranl or intentional heating. Nothing has changed from previous attemps, Apart from the strain. Humidty is the same as well...

rh is room humidity. obiously something has changed else it wouldn't of happen. maybe its the spores or something. but to tell you the truth i have no idea

your rh is your rooms humidity?!?! unless youve got your room pretty much sealed off and about 20lbs of wet perlite on your floor i dont think your rooms humidity would be enough. rh stands for relative humidity which would be higher (hopefully) in your terrarium. you want about 95% with the cakes that youre birthing, and normal humidity in your house shouldnt ever be more than 70 or so. mines usually around 50. just make sure its humid in your terrarium.

Jeez Beppo, you lucky fucker. You live where the rh is only 50%? Damn it's always about 80% here in SA and higher in the summer. When you sweat in air conditioning. I swear some days I don't need a terrarium at all! :)
