well, yesterday i hit up the local bookstore for a mushroom field guide, its really helpful. After gettign and reading the book in the section with the shrooms that grow in MA, my friend and myself went hunting in the wood. we first went to a place where people used to dump grass clipping, old sticks, etc. and found colonies of different mushrooms. Later today i will post the picture. But this hunting is not very easy, there were so many different strains and i didnt know which could be shrooms or not. Is it possible to have other than Pan subs and the other species here ?
i live in mass too. im not really into shrooms anymore but look around horse stables. they usually take all the horse poo and put it into big piles. weight for a nice humid day after a rain storm. look for panelous subbalteaus.(sp)?
