WBS and adding other grains like quinoa and extra millet-
    #4634110 - 09/08/05 02:23 PM (18 years, 6 months ago)

Ive been looking at numerous types of WBS, some with all sorts of ingrediants (peanuts, wheat, cranberies...) and became a bit concerned with using these- but after some research it seems that just any WBS (minus peanuts and cranberries) will be OK

but Im curious if anyone has any suggestions about adding quinoa or extra millet to a WBS mix-

many thanks!

I've never used quinoa in anything other than alien's recipe. The millet you can add to the WBS if you want (there's already millet in there!). I would just buy a millet heavy WBS mix since millet is pretty expensive.

PM me with any cultivation questions.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

Quinoa is good because it is high in tryptophan, which is a precursor to psilocybin. it's cheap too, only $1.69/lb..

It's not cheap everywhere! I pay $2.39/lb here, but I agree with you on the tryptophan. Pennington's brand finch seed is one of the best WBS's I have used. You don't need to remove anything and it works great. The quinoa is an added bonus, but not neccessary IMO.

thanks for your help..

I was thinking of adding more millet, perhaps to beef(?) it up and offset all the extra stuff in some WBS (cant find penningtons) and quinoa since it Ive heard its nice--

the tryptophan doesn't matter,
everyone says that nitrogen is what it needs

way to jump off the bridge with everyone else hey?
